BLM Michigan Allyship is a multi-racial group of people in Michigan who are committed to understanding the Black Lives Matter movement and history as well as engaging in personal work to develop racial consciousness and reduce harm. This self work is critical to ensure we are prepared to follow and center Black leadership and take action for Black Liberation with accountability. Through community organizing, mobilizing, and education, we are striving to be better co-conspirators against white supremacy and more useful allies in upholding racial equity.
